Dear all -- Attached, in Word, is the revised, proposed final national media advisory for August 5 - 9. I did my best to streamline the advisory, in accordance with your various suggestions. I also assembled and edited (minimally) the quotes I received. Per our timeline, this is supposed to go out tomorrow (Aug. 2). The version here is intended to go out from UFPJ, on UFPJ letterhead. Hany felt that there should only be 2 contact names at the top. However, as you'll see, the contact information for each person quoted is included after their names. I will also send this advisory to the Stop Divine Strake Coalition media list that Eileen Olsen sent me. A few things to note: I learned from Shannon that Cindy Sheehan will not be speaking at Los Alamos, but Daniel Ellsberg has been added to Livermore. Also, although we've been trying hard, we haven't yet been able to obtain quotes from William Simmons of the International Indian Treaty Council or Carrie Dann from the Western Shoshone Nation. This is not intended to replace your local releases, but please feel free to modify and use as you see fit. ALSO: Be sure to check out www.August6.org. As of this moment, we have 78 events in 54 cities in 24 states listed - and they're still coming in! If you have any burning concerns or changes that need to be made, please let me know asap. Thanks everyone. I'm really excited about the new connections we're making. -- Jackie
