IRAQ VETS TO DELIVER EVICTION NOTICE TO BECHTEL CORP
Kick-off to 23-City Counter-Recruitment Tour Closes the Declaration  
of Peace week of actions

WHAT:	Iraq vets and their supporters will attempt to serve an  
eviction notice to Becthel Corporation.

WHEN:	Thursday, September 28, 11:30am.	

WHERE: 	Bechtel's corporate office at 1015 15th Street, N.W.,  
Washington, DC.

WHO:   	The event is being organized by Iraq Vets Against the War and  
the UPRISE Counter-Recruitment Tour.
  	
Join us on Thursday, September 28th, as Iraq war veterans and their  
supporters attempt to serve an eviction notice to Bechtel Corporation  
at their Washington, DC office. After a brief gathering in front of  
the 15th Street building, we will serve a notice that enumerates  
Bechtel's wrongdoing and demands that the corporation be immediately  
"evicted from the planet." Bechtel, a leading beneficiary of  
corporate globalization, pushed for the U.S. to go to war with Iraq  
and subsequently received $2.8 billion in Iraq reconstruction contracts.

the issues of war and military recruitment to corporate
