Hi all,

This last Legislative Session in New Mexico,

SENATE JOINT MEMORIAL 47,
  "EXPRESSING THE RESOLVE OF THE NEW MEXICO LEGISLATURE THAT MANUFACTURE 
OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS IN NEW MEXICO SHOULD BE PROHIBITED"

was introduced by me.  Although it didn't make it very far this 
legislative session, manly due to time constraints (as it did not carry 
the weight of law), it did capture the attention of the legislators.  I 
inclose the bill on the attachment as an inspiration to those in other 
states who might want to raise this question in their halls of 
government.

and the article from The Wall Street Journal on January 4th with GEORGE 
P. SHULTZ, WILLIAM J. PERRY, HENRY A. KISSINGER and SAM NUNN all 
weighing in on the abolition of nuclear weapons.  If you haven't seen 
it, you will be amazed.
